CHARLES RUTTER
Managing Member
Charles (Charlie) Rutter serves as the company’s Managing Member and General Counsel. He has over 15 years of experience in the construction business. He resides in both Denver, Colorado and Lawrence, Kansas with his family of six, where they are active in their community, school, and church. He is a graduate of the Washburn University School of Law and Kansas State University. Prior to joining the company, Charlie served as an Assistant Attorney General and Assistant District Attorney in Kansas, where he protected the public in the Appellate, Consumer, and Civil Litigation Divisions. Early in his career, he was an associate at Stinson, LLP and worked at the Pentagon with a secret clearance. His business philosophy is simple, customer service is the number one priority by doing the right thing every time, all the time. He is a servant leader and motivates staff in that manner. You will routinely see him out on projects directing personnel and even sweeping up job sites. He believes in taking a hands-on approach for quality assurance and safety. In his spare time, he enjoys running, fishing, skiing, trail riding, and spending time with his family. He is an avid fly fisherman and alpine skier.
